AI & Small Farmers Bridge Data Gaps in Water Management

David Chapin, Sherry Wynn
Conservation/Sustainability, Environment/Climate, Innovation/Green Tech

Water scarcity affects the livelihoods of small farmers around the world. What they need is someone to level the playing field, so small farmers can not only make sound water decisions to foster their own economic success but also do what’s right for our world. To address water scarcity and quality using technology, Texas A&M AgriLife joined the first cohort of the IBM Sustainability Accelerator to offer a solution for small farmers around the world, beginning in Texas.

Speakers include:

— David Chapin - Fruit Farmer
— Gurjinder S. Baath - Texas A&M Agrilife, Assistant Professor
— Sherry Wynn - IBM, CRS Manager

Presented by IBM.

This session was released during The Summer Summit, Sept. 13-15, 2022.
