LAB SESSION OVERVIEW
Sustainable packaging is crucial, but much like any relationship, communication is key and we need to get the suppliers, the buyers, and the rest of the packaging supply chain talking to put these ideas into practice. So, we brought together innovative packaging suppliers, designers, engineers, non-profits, creative thinkers and some truly innovative wildcards.
In our See Change materials lab we brought together ingenious packaging suppliers working with a variety of materials, buyers for numerous brands, and some unsung heroes like non-profits, designers, and creative thinkers to bridge the gap and create change.
By creating a space where leaders from materials companies teamed up with the procurement, R&D, and marketing departments of influential brands we connected the dots, discovered new solutions, and forged meaningful relationships that can take us into a more sustainable future.
We went in with a mission to revolutionize sustainable packaging. The material innovators and suppliers we invited to the room provided the inspirational spark to get everyone talking to fill the gaps in the current packaging value chain. While networking is usually the centerpoint for conference experiences, this lab was networking while working, thinking and creating together, which creates a much longer lasting effect. Where we collectively ended up was exciting and wide-reaching across topics, check out our lab report for all the details!
